    New wheels for this thing:




    It's completely different type of vehicle than the E46, but I love it. Took it up to Laguna Seca a few weekends ago and it just beasts along at triple digit speeds for twenty minutes at a time, as smooth and effortless as can be. Allegedly.

    anytime I’m going to the canyons, I pick the m3. It’s just so much easier to drive. 997 has good mechanical feel, particularly with the shifting/clutch feel.

    Yeah I’ve heard the trans on the W204 C63 was meh. The W205’s trans is pretty good IMO, but BMW’s DCT still feels quicker and more responsive. I was initially going to buy a W212 E class or F30 320/328, but I’m glad I went with a sportier car lol.

    Added an AMG to the collection. So I have a cool sports car from three German manufacturers now - E46 M3, 981 Cayman GTS, and W205 C43 AMG.
