Best option for headers + cats

And honestly that Ti exhaust got me curious as well.

I think the equal length section 1 will do enough to change the rasp, although I'm not opposed to it, I actually like it. Not having cats will be interesting and that titanium exhaust, it's a similar design to the Dixie.

Followed up with the supplier, it's not going to be in CA until May 😂. It's on the slow boat from China with the rubber dog shit in tow.

I ordered a set of OEM Euro headers from a board member here, waiting for those to come in. In the meantime I'm collecting the rest of the exhaust system and I'm planning on going catless initially. So far, I've got the,

1. Karbonius CSL Intake
2. OEM Euro headers

In terms of Section 1, I've been researching the equal length pipes that Sunbeam sell and since I've bought a few Rogue Engineering parts, I'm going to jump for their equal length rasp pipe, really curious about the sound. With that said, any suggestions on a section 2 or should I leave it OEM? For shits and giggles I'm thinking of ordering a full titanium exhaust from AliBaba, just to see how the tone works out with the rest of the system.

Supersprint resonated X-pipe seems to be the way to go. I’m contemplating going this route.

Ideal exhaust setup for me is OE euro headers/section1, SS resonated x-pipe, SS sport sec 2.

Kinda surprised but not really at rogue changing their minds on something like that. I remember they said they were not bringing it to market because their version didn't make any power, I originally asked them for a catted version but they were only interested in throwing on a cheaper low cpsi type

So as it stands once the Karb airbox goes in, Euro Headers, no cats (initially), RE equal length section 1 , OEM section 2 and the
titanium box should make for an interesting sound. If the exhaust sucks, I may just stick with OEM or a SuperSprint Race like you guys are suggesting, I'm sure I'm going to prefer the CSL airbox singing.

I bought the ICV hoses from RE, I like their solution for that part. I haven't purchased anything else but what's not good about that company minus complaints about their shipping charges? Don't they have an actual E46 M3 Racecar and a team? Educate me, as I'm unaware.

I wasn't even aware of 485designs as a company, the price is negligible for the pipe considering RE's is ~$900, the welds look a lot cleaner too. I'd be interested to buy a unit if Nick is willing to make another batch, I'll keep in touch with you 9kracing

My car has the best parts in terms of build quality, I don't skimp especially with anything cheap. Learned my lesson early in life with Megan Racing parts for my SR20DET 240SX. Absolute trash, the welds always cracked over time. In terms of the exhaust for the M3, I haven't settled on one to be honest and nothing looks appealing except the Titanium Dixis and that's a dream at this point. I actually just bought some 30mm tips I plan on installing on the OEM box since it's quite a decent system for being OEM, the tips will help blend with the CSL diffusor. The weight is what's killing me, so I'm going to spend ~$900 for a full titanium rear box and see if it's a decent tone, weight savings alone is worth it assuming it doesn't sound like a tin can. Worst case scenario I sell it on Facebook and reinstall the OEM system.

Supersprint sport is a really good option imo (it's what I have). It's heavy though. The tips look really great too

Last time I spoke with rogue it didn't seem like they were going to follow through with bringing the equal length sec1to market

Highly suggest some type of catalytic converter since it reduces the metallic rasp significantly, in addition to not poisoning you and others around you as much

And you can add hearing damage to the list of health concerns if you're gonna try the alibaba titaniun sec 3 lol

I've sent an email so I'm waiting to hear back, I'm hoping it's not DC'd so there's options if 485designs doesn't want to make anymore. Glad I didn't purchase this thing last night as the website says it's being released in February 2025.
