My 2006 has a 9" Android installed on it by the PO. When I grab the screen, the radio is loose and being held by the trim. I really don't like this and have been looking for a way to secure it. The reason it is loose is because the bracket that was there had screw mounts for the factory radio, without it there are just holes left over. There is also an issue with getting the trim in there as space is tight and you have to be careful not to break the mounts on the trim.
I was going to 3D scan the radio bracket and trim out the extra stuff, then print the mount bracket. However today I found some rubber mounts in the hardware stop that solve the problem. See attached pictures.
The only issue in the picture, you don't need a washer and the bolt in the picture is truss, you need flat that countersinks.
