I see you guys. Very busy with work at the moment. Took a bit of time to build a package that was a one click order.
The bracket in my car is the same one that needed manual modification, so it is possible to make it fit for those that have ordered and own a grinder, Dremel, etc.
edit: the easy way to modify would be drilling a new hole on the driver’s side, making a sort of infinity symbol. This may have been the approach I took, memory is weak. It can be free handed with a 9mm, 11/32 or 3/8” drill bit.

Can you link to the updated bracket and I'll order that? I'll order the extra small clamp bracket too.

Also, I'm trying to test fit now. Did you have to make the hole that attaches to the tranny wider (like longer)? I can't seem to get the holes to line up.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

you’ll have to confirm which length you bought for the screws since there was a range provided.

Yep, bend to fit! This way it’s compatible with both pipe diameters, and can accommodate the rather crappy SS manufacturing tolerances.
It should easily bend with a vice or two pairs of big pliers. I used two pairs of knipex parallel pliers (greatest tool ever) to bend mine to fit in situ.

I understand the tranny bracket and the spacer to the long bracket... but how does that brack connect to the clamp that holds the exhaust pipe?
It looks like your end looks different than mineLast edited by x Spades x; 12-04-2024, 12:01 PM.
