STOPTECH ST60 & ST40 Parts Info

I have sent this thread to Chris from Speed By Design (SBD) who has been developing some amazing brake upgrades for the G8X and many other platforms. Hopefully he will chime in here and give us some feedback.

Hey Guys, does anyone with any knowledge on the STOPTECH BBKs setups dig up the part number for the front ST60 brake hoses and Rear ST40 brake hoses please.

Did you ever confirm your piston sizes as I would like to add additional kits in order to service these.

I am going to be ordering all four rotors from Giro disc soon and was wondering who knows what pads to run. Suggestions for performance street use and any more aggressive versions for the track are welcome as well.

ST60 which pads and from where(basically and preferably someone who has stock)
ST40 which pads and from where for performance street use.

I have a st40 355 front kit on one m3 and the full st40 355 front and rear on another m3 that has been removed for repowdercoat. I can check the sizes and report back

Kind of expensive though at $280 for a set without shipping for all 4 calipers for the caliper dust boots and pressure seals.

Yep. Agreed, I priced them out and was surprised at the cost. I've run my E36 M3 with Wilwoods for years without dust seals or issues

Definitely interesting so im going to measure mine once the Golf R is done and i exchange that shitter for the M3 and they start working on it.

There were several variants of this kit through the years. Personally I wouldn't rely on what other people's piston sizes are without measuring them myself. These parts are not easy to return.
