OEM CSL Trunk Availability?

Dang it, now I'm sucked into this. What's the consensus on running a CSL trunk, but not a CSL front bumper cover? My initial thought is to not do that, but I'm curious what others think.

For me the bumper cover plays no role in a decision on the deck lid. Besides, maybe later you do the bumper. Sometimes you can’t have everything all at once.

It was my birthday over the weekend.
When I start drinking I start thinking. My genius idea was to buy one.
Have an order in for $2,728.42 shipped to my door. I think that's a pretty good price given current part pricing, and tariffs.
I will follow back up in 4 to 6 weeks when and if it arrives.

3 weeks later my purchase showed up to my house. It got state side last week and delivery was set for today. They gave me a window 12 to 4 for delivery. I called to tell them I need an hour heads up so I can make it home. That never happened. Good thing my neighbor was home to sign for it... Most importantly. $0.00 tariffs due on delivery

I ended up getting the Karbonius on the Black Friday sale for a great price. But I wanted the OE trunk.

Good question, I think unlikely. Nothing was conveyed to me after the purchase. I think it’s baked into the price as they will be shipping the item from the US to me.

For anyone that is curious, there is currently 80 CSL trunk lids in Germany.

Congrats! You won't regret it. It is a lot of money, but even a year later I'd say it's the one of, if not, the best mod I've done cosmetically.

That's also about what I paid a year ago after all the shipping fees from schmeidmann.

I felt better when I saw the karbonius trunk being more than the OEM. I’d kick myself 10 years from now when it’s NLA if I didn’t buy it.

Nice. I got mine from overseas a while back before the went up in price which I thought was a good idea until the FedEx tariff bill came in the mail and added close to $800 to the purchase. I didn't really think that part through.
