I got mine from Schmiedmann. Worse part is waiting. Wait time for me was a little over 3 months. You might get lucky and buy right before they ship out a batch.

Is ECS the best place to buy currently? Or can we also get these through dealers as well?

Still no update on shipping date on current batch. You guys who got yours a few weeks ago seem very lucky. No idea when the next batch is going out.

Still haven't received my trunk and apparently they're still estimated to be back in stock at the end of this month. Fingers crossed.

Amount has been updated to $2500 so the trunks are fine now. I just received an email from them after I asked them about my pending trunk order. They said it's okay to be processed now and will ship out when they come back in stock which on my order details is still showing end of May.

This could be a temporary situation. Tariff situation changes, prices could change. Or, these businesses will just keep prices high if customers continue buying haha

I hope the timeline on Schmiedmann is more accurate than the one given by ECS. They're saying end of August for delivery date. My Schmiedmann order says end of May.

One of the most popular exterior modifications for the E46 M3 is installing the trunk lid from the famous M3 CSL. So if you have installed a CSL tailgate (or plan to) and would like to upgrade your license plate lights to genuine BMW LED units, you need a harness to convert the E46 plugs to accept the modern LED license plate

That's wild. I wouldn't pay anything more than what I did for it, let alone $6k.

Schmiedmann is still showing $2,3k so they haven't changed much. $6k is crazy.

Mine is still backordered until the end of May though. Guess I wasn't part of that batch everyone was on.
