Figured I'd ask while you're all here. I'm swapping to a 3.25 FD (H64 210mm) from an older e32/e34 into my e46 M3 diff because I'm converting to an e92m3 DCT "short ratio" transmission - 7th gear is 1:1. I was going to use the racingdiff gear ratio swap kit and hand both the crown and pinion and racingdiff kit to _somebody_ here in the PNW to do the actual work. I don't have the tools (or patience) to do the finicky bits.

Can anybody recommend a shop in the PNW to do this work? I guess I should ship it down to Texas too... Thoughts? I've already sourced the 3.25 crown and pinion.

Sorry for the late reply but I went with gsr Motorsports! They specialize in bmw track cars and pricing wasn't terrible! Finished my rebuild in about a week!

M3Post should have some used. A lot of those guys will swap in a 4.10 or a 4.44.

    +1 to Pedro.

I was recommended by him through a track friend and I’ve been running his ZF diff since February. I’ve used it through multiple track days already and it’s a great upgrade.

Yup its the same dude I believe! And yea after he told me the price I was like sold lol, have seen his name referenced multiple times here and on other posts and some Facebook posts as well so figured I can't trust him, he also accepts PayPal goods and services so usually that's pretty solid

I think my buddy paid $900 for a ZF unit. I remember thinking it might be a ripoff but he said YOLO. Worked out well. Had a customs issue which delayed things. Otherwise it was great. It shipped with new carrier bearings which I'd rather install those myself since they will likely get beat up in shipping.

For either. I think Drexlers range from 1800-3000ish USD.
