E86 Front Triangulation Braces Retrofit

    What am I missing her? Isn't the send cut send link the parts? And so they just need to be welded up or? I want to do this, my buddy down the street wants to do this.

    Are we just referring to organizing and orchestrating a group buy? Because if so, I can do it

    This is the route I was planning to go until I realized that you need adjustable camber plates to be able to install the brace - unfortunately makes it a no-go for me in NZ without going down the low volume vehicle certification path.

    Oh yeah, the difference is enormous. Have had a few friends do an AB test on the car and everyone has immediately noticed the difference.

    SendCutSend just approved the shared cart for the strut tower brackets. Added the link to the doc, but posting here as well:



    Looks like the price per set (of 4 parts) drops by roughly 35% if you order 5 sets. You guys could lump this one in with the CNC group buy for extra savings.

    You definitely could do that and the end result would likely be lighter, since you could probably make it work with 6061. My simulations did not close with 6061 sheet metal parts under the cast aluminum brackets, hence the step up to SS. Billet one piece would be a different story, though.

    But I haven't modeled the entire mount, so there would be some extra design work required.

    Yeah it really does suck. That's one of the worst parts of the job for sure.

    ​It's not entirely necessary, but it does make your life a lot easier. Especially when prepping the chassis for the adhesive.

    This is awesome! Thank you for this impressive contribution to the community! A couple comments come to mind after perusing the document:

    2. Is removing the blower housing entirely necessary? I recently changed the blower motor and removal / reinstall was a very annoying process.
