Hello Everyone,
I’m starting the process of ordering E88s, but I’ve encountered a bit of a roadblock in terms of getting the specs dialed in. I’m running the Porsche Cayenne BBK retrofit on my car, and while I’m aware that the 996 Boxer setup tends to be the go-to for many, I had a preference for the 6x4 caliper arrangement over the 4x4. I mention this so the conversation doesn't take an off topic turn into a bbk discussion 😅
In working through the ordering process, the builders have requested specs for both the rotors and calipers to recommend the correct size and offset for the wheels. Additionally, it’s clear that, regardless of offset, I will likely need to run a spacer to ensure clearance for the suspension components.
Given the investment in this setup, I want to make sure I’m fully informed about how to properly spec the wheels, especially in relation to my BBK. Are any of you running E88s with the Cayenne BBK retrofit? If so, I’d love to hear what size and offset you’re using. Alternatively, if anyone has advice on how I can gather the specific measurements my builder is requesting, that would be incredibly helpful as well.
Here are the BBK details for reference:
Thanks in advance for any insights or guidance you can provide.
