I'm thinking Leather outer, mtex inner and seat heats, hopefully I can figure out something to use in the way of seat heat that requires zero wiring loom modifications, trying to keep that to a minimum.

Just grab some stock seat-side connectors from a junkyard/ebay and modify the heating pads instead of the harness on the car.

PS wow thats actually an awful pic wtf pixel6pro, seats are brand new and so is the mtextür. Gonna need to remedy that. After installing them I needed to get rid of the oem center console and the arm rest, so this was to put in new arm rest delete.

Do you have seat heats, if so what's the low down on parts used

How many of you are opting for the leather outer portion?

We put a set of these with the Vinyl outer in a 996 GT3 and I think that looks damn good to my eye vs. leather. I was told by HMS that the leather would last longer if properly cared for but the price difference was quite staggering.

When it comes to the M3 I'll spend more attention to detail (and money) as the Porsche isnt really driven that on the street all that often. But if anyone had some good photos or opinions of vinyl vs. leather that would be great.

Related question. Anyone who has had these trimmed to mimic the CSL seats, what fabric did you use for the centre panels of the seat? I'm assuming everyone's using Alcantara 9002 for the outer portions of the seat, but can't seem to find any consensus on the centre panels, On the basis that the original Amaretta Reflex fabric is unavailable I've been trying to find the best substitute.

I’m afraid that’s not true https://www.subesports.com is direct US IMPORTER of those seats as well. I know from experience when I bought mine last year HMS was quoting me $1230 per seat plus shipping plus state tax while subie sports offered them at $1099 per seat with free shipping plus you can get extra 10% off both seats cost me $2078 out the door last year and they don’t charge state tax either 😊that’s another +$150 savings on both seats, if you sign up for their yearly membership which you can use on everything else they sell like Schtoth harnesses for example I ordered my 2027 Schroth FLEXI harness from them last month for $467 with the 10% discount is good for 1 year from initial sign up, while everyone else is selling them for $519 plus state tax and up. Only reason I know they are direct importer is because my seats where stuck on a ship directly from England for month outside LA port they are located on west coast, (kinda funny that seats had to go around whole continent before they got to me I’m in New England btw) they were very informative throughout the whole process they basically import whole containers of various cobra seats including Nogaros only down side is if you want something custom like special finishes then HMS can tailor better to someone’s needs but if you want standard finishes you can’t beat their pricing, same thing with Schroth belts they directly import them from Germany, good company great people very happy with their services

Just a heads up, I went there today and tried to get the same deal you did and they said "$1299 each + tax." So I'm not sure if you have to talk to someone specific or what, but I wasn't able to replicate it.

User install error. The left and right slider wasn't even so my dumb ass thought they were the wrong sliders. All I had to do was pull the lever and line them up correctly.

So I picked up manual seats from a 3 series and tried mounting the BK mounts and seat and the car and they dont line up.

Anyone have a part number for manual sliders?

What part doesn't line up? How close is it? From memory there is a bit of technique to getting them to mate up properly.

You can't buy them without the whole seat lower section...

... and you'd be buying the same thing you already bought, that doesn't fit. Sound to me like you got faulty part from BK, or are having some sort of install error...

Obioban what color did you end up deciding on from Relicate? I just got a few samples but they all turned out to be too bright compared to the leather in the car, not sure if its how my leather has worn or I just picked wrong.

I sent them a piece of leather from my car and they color matched it.
