The rarity thing cracks me up, porsche guys love saying one of one in the world with pink stitching! Bruh who cares how many were made, it's low because nobody else wanted it.

None of that stuff makes the car desirable to rational people. My car is a black on black with manual and no sunroof, I would have paid more just to get those standard items.

People only do shit because it's different (like red centercaps) not because it looks better (which it doesn't) if you look at it in a vacuum.

Maybe only 8 were made because it turns out that color actually looks terrible on the E46

Ahhh didn't know it was swapped, that does make it less desirable for sure. And yeah, the ad says nothing about its maintenance history which will be a big question mark for any potential buyer, especially considering the miles. It could easily require $10k in maintenance if the big three haven't been done yet.

I think the public comments section on BAT scares a certain type of seller, i.e. those who can't or don't want to answer questions.

EAG inventory is kinda low on these lately. Hurry before it goes up for “rejuvenation”.

VIN decoder says “spoiler delete” but clearly one has been added

But I'd think that with the work that has been done to it and the fact that it has 85k mi, a (well done, factory-like) manual swap would have upped the car's value.
There is an 06 ZCP manual with 81k going for $40,000 at a dealership near me.....just can’t believe the high premium for these wonder how long this will last.....Hagerty has the 05 and 06 ZCP classified as classic’s.

Have to agree. The market is pretty insane right now. Especially on coupes. Anything well sorted i feel goes for a fortune. Im guessing a lot of that has to do with the fact that all these cars are at the time frame that so many pieces and parts break down and need maintenance so a well sorted example that has had all the weak points taken care of will continue to rise. I feel like i just keep dumping money into my vert. But thats not for resale, mine is for piece of mind.
