revisiting EGAS questions....error code linkage and throttle valve pot 1 vs. 2?
Hi everyone, it's been awhile!
I'm troubleshooting some DME codes that my M3 threw the other day, and fairly confident it's a combination of dirty throttle bodies and worn out TPS. It did throw a "230 EGAS-Nominal/actual comparison" error as well as the "120 Comparison throttle valve pot", "118 Throttle valve pot. 1", "119 Throttle valve pot. 2", and "121 both throttle valve pots". What i'm wondering is whether the 230 code can be triggered by the 118/119/121 issues. I'm also wondering which throttle pot is which....is #1 the one by the oil filter or the one under the intake plenum? Mostly just curious since i'll be replacing both anyway....
