    Hate to be that guy for you but I have been seriously contemplating trying these out as I’m currently in the process of rebuilding.
    Debating between this or molnar rods and honestly I really don’t see why they wouldn’t work. Every other community has good experiences with them

    I have not. Sorry. Last time I was at the machine shop I was in a major rush and forgot to ask them. Rest assured, it will get done. Probably by the end of this week.

    Molnar are a good choice, the money you save can be spent on things that actually make power

    My research for the race car led me to these weights, in grams, on forged rods and pistons that I could find information on. Stock S54 rods are 632 grams and stock pistons are 470 grams.

    Forged Rods
    CP-Carrillo: 491
    Pauter: 483
    Arrow-Precision: 567
    Supertech: 532

    Forged Pistons
    JE Pistons: 330

    Lower comp you can run more boost and more ignition timing. Run pump fuel. If you keep the comp standard and you want to start chasing power you may struggle adding boost without race fuel or pulling ignition timing out.

    The wiseco rods are just I-beam rods with some marketing bs thrown in. Any of the name brand aftermarket will be fine

    Unless you live somewhere with a lot of e85. My built motor still has high compression. The stock engine made over 700whp last year before I pulled it. Rods and pistons all looked fine when I took it apart.

    I would think you would want a lower compression piston when boosting, and higher with NA????

    I dont plan on exceeding 600whp. My engine builder said that he could get me the boost line rods with ARP2000 bolts for $820 so I think this is almost a done deal.     If your going to boost in a few years stick with the factory rod for now and change out to a rod/piston setup to work with boost later.
