How much noise from diff input shaft is allowable

Noticed a bunch of noise at low speeds when in a higher gear. Have the car up the air put a screw driver up to the diff input shaft and here a decent amount noise coming from input shaft that seems to be echoing through the drive shaft. Don't know if im just chasing a non issue
