I would say the new style Mats are junk. I purchased these from a local dealer in person. The M3 logo is just glued on, the old ones where sewn in and the pile was thicker.
This is not acceptable. I also snagged one of these last sets from a bmw dealer on eBay. Now I am curious to see how well those are made. Still haven’t started using them yet.

All of my convertible friends, Pacific BMW on Amazon has floor mats for the cabrios. $84.64 plus tax. These are legit OEM as I know a few people who've purchased and received.
They’re charging $130. FCP has them for 107.99 with lifetime warranty. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Hey bud, if FCP has them in stock then I would definitely get from them. I got my convertible mats from Fcp as well a few months back. Just trying to keep the thread going 👍
are those the originals with the purple stripe from Fernan?
I received mine with the blue stripe from FCP last week. They look the part, and don't have that felt backing that falls apart, but do seem pretty thin and cheap these days.
I simply posted to let people know about FCP having them in stock, I didn’t know. Many people didn’t know. I don’t need any credit or thank you’s lol. Here this is directly copy and pasted from I said in the for sale ad.
”To anyone who is giving me grief for asking $200 for the floor mats : These have been incredibly hard to find for the past 6 months. I overpaid for them in the first place. I would only be making about $30 profit after shipping, considering I also had to pay shipping and taxes to receive them. Making $30 profit isn’t much to ask for since I’ve spent hours researching all over the internet. I called 15 dealerships, and checked Amazon/eBay every single day. Not to mention I had 3 orders get canceled on me from various websites. At the time of this listing I didn’t know FCP euro had them in stock, and many others didn’t know aswell. I thought they would never be available again. I’m glad they are available again and us forum members can easily buy these since they wear out pretty frequently. Now go buy a set before they are gone.”
Just as a follow up, eBay will issue me a full refund for the garbage I got from overseas and I don't even have to send the mats back! I'm guessing the seller knew they were junk and didn't want another black eye from trying to scam someone else.
Yuuuuup. Buying from eBay, there really isn't anything that can go wrong. Even if things seem like a scam I'd try just for the heck of it, because if it wasn't a scam I'd get a really good deal. For example there were one of those 80cc bike engine kits for $30 and free shipping from China. Turned out to be a scam, got a full refund, painless and no questions asked.
