M3 Floor Mats NLA?

Floor mats scarcity across the board. I can't get new mats for my Z4M or my E60 M5.

well, my trunk mat from FCP showed up yesterday, so it appears I got lucky on that one. Now I just need to track down some floor mats.

My mats are purple center stripe too, but everything else on the car is blue and looks original too based on how faded it is. Trunk, wheel, grill emblems are all blue, are they generally purple?

Okay . . . this makes me feel a little better. I was thinking the same thing looking at all my emblems, they all looked "dark blueish" , I was thinking maybe everything on my car is faded

I think only my steering wheel band had purple on my E30 M3. They been using dark blue for a while. Why they had the original purple stripe on floor mats so long is actually surprising.

FOMO . . . I finally saw a set on AMAZON and pulled the trigger. You can see in the PICS the differences of the "new" mats vs the original mats ( at least I think they are the OG mats ) . . .

Color change from purple to dark blue

Gone is the FOAM backing, this backing seems more robust

And the design of the velcro seems different . . . better IMO

FYI...the trunk mat is back in stock at FCP. I ordered mine yesterday morning and received a shipping notification, so it's real this time.

As in it's already shipped?? My order placed march 10th still hasn't shipped. Yikes thats frustrating if they are out of stock again.

there is not enough of a gap between the bar and the floor to sandwich the mat in between, that is the main issue!

Ah, looked like there would be enough clearance.
Still would adapt it to fit.

You probably only need to do two “lollipop” slits to get it to fit around it’s mounting locations. Should look just fine.
Measure twice, cut once.

I want one of those M trunk mats but I have a mason x brace which means I'd have to cut the mat into two pieces.... uhhhh should I do it?
