    100% sure the larger post is positive. Maybe I just need to crank down harder on the cable connector nuts but worried about stripping.

    I don’t remember of the top my head right now, if it’s slides off even when it’s tighten then it’s mean wrong post is on that side

    Did you try to swap them because they are not the same size one is slightly bigger the. The other therefore if one is one the wrong side it will slide off, I had the same experience.

    So I found that after tightening down the battery cables, it's not snug against these posts. I can pull them up and off. Not sure where my problem lay, the XS posts or the cable connectors.

    Awesome. Our battery came with the car so I wasnt sure. Those threaded blocks in the video are much better than what I linked. If i had to do it again I would just take a T nut used for aluminum extrusion and grind it down on the bench to fit.

    FYI, I used this for securing the CTEK charger leads to the other 2 battery posts:

    Anitygravity batteries are supplied with threaded nuts blocks to mount these posts so they these will work, you can see it in here as well. https://youtu.be/tydyRp3vs0E

    I don’t think the terminal posts are threaded. You might need nuts to go under the battery post for that m6 bolt.

    FYI, I used this for securing the CTEK charger leads to the other 2 battery posts:

    Only newer bmw models require programming to reset the voltage level needed to charge a new AGM.

    electrically The ATX 30 is a drop in replacement, but I would not call it same spec to OEM. You will need a new bracket to install. See my photos earlier in the thread.

    Thought the battery needed to be programmed after it's replaced. If I'm correct, are there any problems doing that with the ATX30 battery?

    Edit: Maybe it's just newer BMWs that require battery programming.
