My girl used to drive an lsb.

All the demos at dealers were lsb when the m3 first came out and it got no love but by a few. Funny to see how trends change over time like silver visions, orange corners, smg opinions etc.

You probably drive your M more than I do though! I've put more miles in a month on my M2 CS than I have on the E46 in a year.

Long overdue detail. We'll see the final look on Friday. But after the first polish, it's already a huge improvement after having spent a lot of the year of ownership in and out of shops getting a whole bunch of things done.

It's what you mentioned which is why I wouldn't want it done. I'm sure it's easy enough to use the non euros and get those wrapped since they have no purpose anymore but I'd rather just leave it as it and focus on other things now. Less than a year in, I was able to "build" it the way I wanted

Just doesn't have an OE quality to the reupholstery. Simple as that. You have a set to convince me otherwise? It's probably less than $200 to do if I had to throw out a number, but again, with everything else that I've done, not on my radar.

At least from what I've seen online. Haven't personally seen them in person. And really, matching visors at this point is not even on my radar.

Thanks! And they are not. I've seen some done before, and they don't look that great so I'm just going to leave them as is. Getting detail work done next week over a span of 4 days, so can't wait to see the glossy pop from the paint at the end of next week.

You are correct in that they are much too modern. Can't blame you for trying....

Well. I wanted to see how the 763's looked on the E46. As much as I love them on the CS and was hoping to love them on the M3 as well, thereby ordering a set for the M3, I do not. I think the spoke design is too modern for it's time. Oh well, swapped back and LM-R's back on!

Drove it briefly today and man, such a joy to drive. clicking into each gear with the CAE shifter, it's just so rewarding, with the wail of the Dixis giving your ears an aural experience as you hit the redline....

Love my M2 CS, but the M3 is a different animal.
