I didn’t like the way that it fit at the top. On mine you can see a gap between the window and the panel. I did not use the 3D printed hardware they providedOriginally posted by jareds941 View Post
I'm attempting to install the Hard door panels now. Man, that is not a very well made product. the "holes" don't line up to anything on my car...I'm going with nutserts but it's proving to be very time consuming and furstrating...all for a mod that serves little "purpose" other than making my track car look a little less ghetto. Can't even imagine trying to make the CF version fit knowing what I've had to do thus far.

What's wrong with the VAC hub? I have it on mine and thought it was a nice piece. Have 20k on it so far.Originally posted by CrisSilberGrau View PostWell my car came with TCK DAs and racingbrake bbk, I love both of those, although both need "refreshing" due to winter driving by PO.
Dislike:
VAC Hub - was in a bind when redoing the vanos, was redone with beisian anti rattle etc but VAC hub and oe disc, would have liked all beisian but alas.
*all i got for owning the car a little over a year, and it being my first one.

Yeah, but none of them are cheap... at least with cars, once you sort them out, they’re sorted if you do them the right way... which is what this thread is helping people do... for me, at most, I can see another $5k at this one and then it is what it is... unless I decide to supercharge and track it, which I’ve every option to do, or not, later.Originally posted by Tbonem3 View PostYou guys have other hobbies???

Love- BBS LM Wheels
- 996 Brembo Conversion
- Supersprint Race Section 3
- OEM CSL Trunk
- AVIN Avant 4
Hate- Status Gruppe SCZA Muffler - Horrendous customer service, muffler showed up with 4 tips pointed 4 different directions. Also did not sound anywhere near as loud as YouTube clips, strongly suspect there was something wrong with the baffling in the unit I got.
- OEM Euro Front Bumper - Maybe I got a dud but fitment was surprisingly poor for an OEM part. Took me all night to get it to sit somewhat right.
- Dynavin Relocation Bracket - Good idea, poor execution. Cigarette lighter outlet is angled downward (wtf?) USB connection is very spotty and disconnects if I go over a bump
- Bilstein PSS10 - Nothing wrong with the product, but wasn't happy with Bilstein customer service when they sent a shock with defective machining on the threads.

Had the DKM stage 1 when the turbo first went on. Worked fine, no complaints. Got the DKM twin disk recently since I was doing the motor. Haven't finished it yet so I have yet to drive it.Originally posted by Hallerhan View Post

Best:- Karbonius airbox + snorkel
- Autosolutions Autocross SSK + OE weighted knob (same look as stock, but no boot and weighted, pn 25117896884) - although I still don't entirely enjoy the feel of the trans in this car, this is the best stock-looking combo I've experienced and it improved the feel substantially
- Koni + Eibach
- CMP subframe bushings and RTABs + VinceBar
- BlueBus
- Honorable mention: short center console (no armrest) + euro sliding tray (no drinks allowed in the car so no use for the cup holders and always thought the armrest looked kinda weird)
Worst- Angel eyes
- Black kidney grills + side grills
- Buildjournal tune (didn't think it felt that much better than stock and have also read a couple horror stories from people that run it)

Love:
-Turbo Kit - no explanation needed
-AEM Infinity - Got with turbo kit but would have without the turbo. Used to try messing with tuning on the stock EMS which was terrible. The ability and ease to change anything with the Infinity is worth the price if you're into that.
-Sound System (Subwoofer/ Cheap Headunit) - Factory sub worked fine, but just didn't think it sounded good and the location on the rear shelf would rattle other stuff. Unplugged it and put a very low profile kicker 10in in the trunk. Doesn't take up too much space and doesn't sound excessive. Hate radio so being able to play music from my phone is major.
-Exterior Clean up/restoration - Used to think I needed to repaint the car and anything else is a waste of time. Ended up only doing a few things that made a major difference. Only ended up respraying the front bumper, then buffed the rest of the car with a chemical guys buffer kit, which turned out great in comparison to before. New headlight lenses and LED blinkers from ECS. Black kidneys, black side grills, and black side markers off amazon which fit surprisingly well. Did all of this at the same time for relatively cheap which is why I'm counting it as one thing.
-Coilovers - Stock suspension was trashed when I got the car so I got ST XTA coilovers. Not in love with the ST's particularly due to the stiffness but they installed easy and haven't had issues. More advocating for coilovers in general. I love the look of the car just slightly lowered, as well as the adjustability.
Hate:
-Ebay Headers - caused a ton of problems and would have been cheaper to get a set from a known company
-Southbend clutch - pressure plate exploded and destroyed the bellhousing on the trans. Then later found out that it trashed the end of the crankshaft, so also ruined the motor.
-Cheap Headlight halos- Controller would always fail and return them to the default color, which for some reason was party mode where it flashed all the colors. Wouldn't realize until I drove around looking like an idiot for a while.
-Ksport Hydraulic Handbrake - thought I could try drifting so I installed this handbrake to work with the factory rear calipers. Ended up being so stiff that the handle wouldn't move or lock the wheels. Just a terrible idea.
-Manzo Sec 3 - on the fence if this is a hate since it is cheap and doesn't cause any problems. Just ridiculously loud.

Yeah I might do it this year along with m track mode. Historically I just turned off dsc on spirited drives or track.Originally posted by Str8f4c3 View Post
Ah, that makes sense. WIth Mk60 you should be able to use NCS to adjust the ratio in the module, and it won't interfere after that.

Interesting that it interferes with mk60, have you coded in the comp rack ratio to adjust?Originally posted by mrgizmo04 View PostAgree, I should have said with dsc off...even on mk60 it interferes like crazy with square setup, so I drive with dsc off and it's awesome.
