Haha that's funny. It showed two used boxes for sale for like $92 or something like that and I was like you know I don't really need 24 bottles but then I change my mind and when I went back it showed only one left lol I guess we both got lucky.

All of this is splitting hairs.

That said, the OG TWS was special.

Because it's Castrol 10w60, which retails at $14.

OE BMW hasn't been Castrol for awhile; it's Shell.

Hard to say how much it all matters, between reputable brands.

Probably best off with LM or BMW shell from FCPeuro. But I'm stuck in my ways, and prefer Castrol.

I run the motul 10w60 X-power on my Turbo S54 with a stock S54 oil cooler and lines and my oil temps never get into the middle zone. when i ran LM with just a CSL airbox, my oil temps always got up into the middle of the gauge. was very annoying.

i started using motul x power 5w40 in my 4.8is as well with better results over LM. less top offs

IDK if they will offer a 10W60 anymore. They don't have anything even close to recent that run that viscosity lol

10w60 is on the list of part numbers coming so they will continue to have it, but also looks like they will offer the 1 liter bottles and 5 litter jugs also.
