So it looks like BMW is switching back to castrol for oil supply. I am not sure if the 10w60 will be the same as the old castrol or not yet however, but we will find out out next month when the switch happens.

I run the Total Quartz Racing 10W-60. It's BMW spec and it hasn't let me down in the race car.

Welp, time to start buying two cases of Castrol 10W60 instead of ammo every paycheck..you know...just in case Castrol stops making 10W60 and/or prices go thru the roof.

I’m leaning towards keeping the VW Mobil1 oil for use in the street car. I’m sure it’s not that bad. Will prob do an oil change in six months with an oil analysis.

Best deal on genuine castrol10w60 is when it's $120 for 12 bottles on amzn. Otherwise, it's $14 retail via amzn, ecs, Orielly's.

Damn sorry guys. Maybe a visit to a local dealer would be worth it to see if there's any stock left? Or maybe a phone call...
