If anyone has it, or can make one, might be helpful for a wiring/diy install to be added to this thread as I can't seem to find the one from m3f anymore for those who are already here!

If you input the part description it'll pop up pretty easily in their search bar.

For anyone looking to do a swap over to an OEM CSL trunk, here is the list of parts I've compiled. Not all of them are required, but I personally will be buying all of them for mine.

CSL trunk lining is not required, but I believe the stock toolkit does not bolt onto the CSL trunk. Your options if you do not buy the CSL trunk lining is to mount the stock trunk lining with a hole where the toolkit was, or drill into the back of the CSL trunk to mount the toolkit.

Based on the ECS kit referenced above
OEM Emblem Securing Grommet 2 51148209932
    OEM Trunk Roundel 1 51148219237
OEM Blind Rivet Nut 2 46632347012

    OEM Electrical Connector 2 61131378149
OEM CSL License Plate Lamp 2 63267165646
OEM CSL Trunk Lining 1 51497896451
OEM Universal Pin Terminal 1 61136931929

Based on Leighton's group buy thread on M3forum
    OEM Trunk Roundel 1 51148219237

Link to ECS, OEM trunk with all hardware. Scroll down to the bottom and it shows the individual parts. Unfortunately no part #'s.

I have one of Mike’s, meaning Status Gruppe, fiberglass CSL trunk on my sled for about five+ years now. My car is outside; it experiences temperature swings from a low in the low 40s deg F at winter months to 115 deg F in the summer months. It fits tight, it does not allow water to leak into the trunk compartment, and it’s holding up good. Alright, if you put your nose against it, there is some faint uneven-ness, but standing a few feet away, it’s all good in the neighborhood. Here is a snapshot... 🙃

His Supersprint stuff comes from Turner FWIW.

To the OP, two companies that do great work and worth inquiring into would be Mile End Composites and Karbonius. Neither make a CSL trunk but worth asking the question of their future plans.

My car has a Seibon CSL trunk (came with the car), it doesn't have a spot for the BMW badge which looks weird but at least the fitment is okayish - better than some of the status gruppe trunks I've seen. I've been busy replacing other things but I'll get around to putting on an OE CSL trunk at some point.

Check Schmiedmannn for OE as well. Got mine there for less including freight than ECS at the time. I replaced an SGT CF one. Annoying to add weight back onto the car but honestly I prefer the more substantial feel when opening and closing, and the fit is better. I’ll make up for it with a CF roof

Don't even look at them as an option. Delete your browser history. Remove them from your memory. It is only pain you will find there. Do what we're telling you, get the OEM trunk and actually see it in the near future.
