after the latest batch of issues, is the burkhart the most promising looking option?
not many people have them, but no complaints so far and somewhat reasonably priced? Is Karbonius ever going to make them?

I inquired about their CF CSL trunks last year. All made in China. Iffy fitment. Okay for lips. I wouldn’t do body panels with their products.Originally posted by aapilcher View Post

Oh it sure does, I am still in touch with the buyer who is in Hawai. Always checkin to see if he ever plans to sell it lol. He’s taking really good care of the car as well.
Besides, you got all those extra parts, you are like a mini CSL dealer or something brother

You could say that, thing is I don't even like csl stuff on my car. I helped a buddy (or two) do csl conversions back then, one was a silver almost full conversion which was really nice and didn't really post on forums.
I do enjoy seeing it on other cars though.

Hahaha, it must have been. I still regret to this day that I did not take off the OEM CSL diffuser, trunk, center console, wheels, headers and, section 1 from my first e46 M3 which I sold in 2015 for 20k.Originally posted by jet_dogg View Post
Brother this was over 15 years ago. Actually now that I think about it I think I bought them for 800 and sold for 1200, honestly can't remember it's been so long.

I bought a couple of those for $1200 and it was a tough buy at that price.

Yeah, I’ve been seeing “just ok” fitment pieces on the streets, which is what led me to search… who has the real deal pieces? If OEM, would someone please share part number (and sourcing)? I assume ECSTuning has them?

It looked acceptable to me, and I was happy at first but the photos show how bad the gaps are. I might try and play with it some more. The carbon fiber in the middle of where the tips goes has a patched look where it's 2 different pieces. At $380 it's not cheap enough for me to recommend to anyone. I do see people spending $500+ and still having issues so it is what it is.

Urgh that weave defect is disheartening - but you won't really see it. Did you contact them for a probable replacement?Originally posted by Circa Surviven View Post^happybuyitnow diffuser ended up fitting just okay. There's been issues with the CarboProject's 1st batch that mostly came from the poor packaging. One had issues with the tab fitment but was fixed. It seems there's play between installations that comes down to previous rear bumper repairs or accidents. It's about 2x as expensive as the Happybuyitnow.
