Why did you have to point that out! I didn't notice that it wasn't masked in the right place, oh well. Looks nice out in the daylight and stays put.Originally posted by SpaceJockey View Post
Fitment and the CF look good but that wavy tape line is driving me nuts. You'd think they'd at least be masking off the correct area by now. Tape line should be in the "valley".

Yes, this is all preliminary still.Originally posted by BMWahba View Post
Need fitment pics, sounds solid
I’ve worked with that supplier a lot. I am awaiting prices and more pictures.

Need fitment pics, sounds solidOriginally posted by Epoustouflant View PostI’ve found a potential Connex. He’s validating prices today.
Hand made in Germany using all pre-preg carbon fiber construction off an OEM CSL diffuser. It’s 1:1 and he offers paint services.
He has the entire OEM CSL parts catalog replicated.

I ordered a diffuser two weeks ago from happybuyitnow after seeing this thread. It arrived yesterday, I will report how the install/fitment goes this weekend.

For post number 51 you could always fiberglass your own little metal tab in if you wish to

Well, I will have to say "holy crap", ordered my diffuser from happybuyitnow on the second of this month, and it just arrived now (the 9th). Quality looks really good. Color looks a real good match(Mystic Blue). Don't know about fit yet, will attack that within the next couple of days.
Have to say again, so far impressed !! Live on east coast, delivered in fairly sturdy box, with sufficient packing inside.

They need to make an aluminum mold if that's the case. They probably didn't because of low projected ROI. If we can get them volume, I don't see why a CNC'ed mold wouldn't make sense.Originally posted by Inizes View Post
Last I heard they aren’t in production because their mold gave out.
That's where we can leverage the Connex to get this into production again.

Post #54 is referring to happybuyitnow.
saw posts regarding the tabs dislocated, sent an email informing them of the issue.
See if it does any good.
Will let you know in a couple of months.....
