Another Exhaust Question

I recently installed Fabspeed headers and modified section one to add high flow cats where the existing resonator was, and an aftermarket section 3 (active autowerke). I then probably spent 10 hours looking for what I was convinced was a loose heat shield, but now I'm certain is a level of rasp I've never heard before. I come from twin motorcycles and V8's, and this is my first high performance 6 cylinder car. I appreciated the rasp in stock configuration- however now I feel that it needs to be tamped down a bit, and I'm looking at section two to make that happen. In others experience, would something like a resonated X pipe from supersprint, or perhaps modifying the stock section two by replacing the resonator after the H with a couple of bottle style resonators or similar do the trick?
