What do you think of them and have you had experiences with any other seats to compare to?

I have the PP ABE and for my body type (5'9" and medium build), it fits me well. I think if you are tall (>6ft), then it might not be ideal, especially with 4pt harnesses. I do like that the buckle fits right inside so it wraps around my waist fully compared to going over the seat like with the Sparco EVOs I had before. I bought it via euroconnex/tainik and it arrived amazingly fast.

How does the adjustable lumbar work in the nogaros? Just a little pump that will inflate the sides?

Also, is that something that comes on all nogaros or do you have to order it as an extra?

They are not standard, but they are "stock"-- you tell Cobra you want them when you order and they add it to the back cushion.

Its in the center of your back, not on the sides-- like the lumbar adjust on the stock M3 seats.

It's a hand pump squeezy thing, that also has a release button when you don't want it. I tuck it under the leather on my seat when not in use, and it becomes completely invisible.

I just recently purchased them so I haven't received them yet. I've had regular PP and Sportsters in the past but not ABEs.

I used to love the PP, had the Profi and loved those, currently have the QRT and they are also great but mid this year I got a pinched nerve in my back which is persistent and hasn’t gone away with massages, chiropractor nor therapy. It seems like the PPs and QRTs are tighter at the top which causes the pain. I will be trying the ABEs but I am open to other options so I can enjoy longer drives.

What I am looking for is; comfort, leather, weight.(in that order)

Went from Recaro PPs to Sparco QRT-Performance and now have carbon Recaro PP ABEs on order through euroconnex.

I also ended up purchasing the PP ABEs through them.

GRP Nogaros are 10.2 kg, CF Nogaros are 5.3 kg.

Comfort is probably more of a function to how they match to your body, but I certainly find the quite comfortable (and enjoy having adjustable lumbar and heat in them).

I loved the support the PPs offered. I had Sportster CSs after because I needed seats that folded and I did not like them. (bolstering, lateral support, seating position)

IMO the CS's are hugely over rated. I don’t think they’re particularly good.

If you do get PPs, try to get the PP ABE. The opening for the seat belt receptacle is significantly bigger on those, so you can use the stock pretensioning one and still have the belt lay flat on your lap, instead of having it go over the side of the seat or having to use a rear non-tensioning receptacle.

AFAIK, you have to get them shipped from europe, but I think it's worth it because the seat belt will act in the way that it was designed to during a crash.

This is not an issue on the nogaros because of how low the side of the seat gets.

I forgot about those. They seem to be well priced too even with shipping.

I’d say PPs are slightly better on track, the Nogaros are significantly better on street.

I recently put these in my car and love them. It's snug, well bolstered, but not hard to get in it out of. Highly recommend! Though if you have PPs, it might be a bit of a lateral move 🤷♂️
