SoCal Silbergrau - The Mechanical Gem

After much procrastination of losing the well-loved M3forum I'm back to continue sharing the journey of this unique Mechanical Gem.

The dream started at age 17 when I unexpectedly I caught a glimpse of an E36 M3 and it ignited my interest in German cars.
My good mate mentioned that a "new generation" M3 was coming out and that same night I saw on TV for the first time an E46 M3, it was love at first sight.
Fast-forward to present day I've owned several E46 m3's but none compared to my ultimate dream of owning a CSL.
One lucky day I found an exceptionally well-taken care of and well-documented Silbergrau M3, this changed everything.

What you're looking at is a pampered hand-massaged 2005 M3 "CSL wannabe" upgraded with nothing but genuine OEM parts.
Exceptionally well documented maintenance, installed parts and labor with better-than OEM modifications for exceptional performance.
Drives better than it looks, spent more money than I should, somehow managed to keep my marriage.

Wow, gorgeous. Dare I say the cleanest build on this board! Nice work!

I’d say lock down the VANOS and top subframe reinforcement . Rod bearings could prob wait, but I’d keep it on the shortlist. This build reminds me of the “90k” LSB on BAT!

Not much more is needed, but excited for build updates.

"Cleanest build" is widely subjective, I appreciate the comment.
                          Subframe reinforcement complete

I remember the 90K LSB, it had some juicy mods to drool over.

Can anyone recommend an OBDII to USB cable?
I purchased a cable from Amazon but the CD instructions look from Windows NT/XP and I'm not having any luck on my Win10 laptop.
I'm looking for a cable that someone has used and is Win10 friendly.
Here is the cable I purchased:
Amazon.com: Taotao K+CAN Cable with Switch FT232RL K+D CAN USB Interface Cable Car Ediabas K+ Dcan USB OBD2 OBDii Diagnostic Scanner for BMW : Automotive

                            Thanks!

That cable works on win10. Just have to find the drivers online. Maybe someone has the link, been a long time since I last did that.

EDIT: a quick search led me here and it looks familiar: https://ftdichip.com/drivers/vcp-drivers/
