Does this mean you're not working on the forged wheels GB?
And why E92 tire sizes?

Datshitz a pain… my Allroad came with the factory two piece 17s in Hyper Silver. I had them done twice then just said F it and bought new wheels. It’s time for them to be redone but it won’t be Hyper Silver. I’m going to try to match the aluminum mirrors, runners and luggage rack.Originally posted by Epoustouflant View PostPaint! You need a Glasurit paint rack from BASF as all paint needs to be blended per weight ratio of each ingredient (pearls, metallics, base, reducers, etc). It's available via their other paint lines such as RM and Limco using different bases and additives.Originally posted by Tbonem3 View PostMember NZ previously posted the Glasurit part # for the metallic paint. Wouldn't it be better to just buy the proper paint? Wouldn't need a ton of it.

The ZCP wheels are striped, repaired and soon to be ready for paint.
We’ll be testing various paint formulations and mixes for HyperSilver to match the OEM finish from the ZCP E92 wheels.
Once it checks out, it’s something I hope to curate as a ready-to-spray package to allow those that don’t have custom paint & body shops around to match the OEM finish.
I ordered the M wheel stickers, got new center caps and picked up some Conti DWs in E92 M3 OEM sizes.

Will be interesting to get your honest review of the feeling going from your SC to the intake when the time comes (w/o the usual suspects influencing FI removal).Originally posted by Epoustouflant View PostI finally have every part needed to unbolt the vfengineering supercharger and install the CSL airbox from haimusracing. The E46 M3 parts pile up for the mechanical restoration continues.
---
Nearly there on the rear suspension restoration pieces. I went OEM on every other bushings except the RTAB with monoball bearings and subframe bushings from @turnermotorsport.
@rogueengineering for the rear strut mounts that notoriously fail on E46s.I’m missing the new diff cover with OE bushings and solid subframe bushings on this delivery.

I finally have every part needed to unbolt the @vfengineering supercharger and install the CSL airbox from @haimusracing. The Genuine CSL filter is pre-oiled and made by @bmcairfilters. I also needed new injectors but unfortunately Bosch is forever BO'ed. I went with @deatschwerks injectors instead.
For some reason, the previous owner had also removed the front radiator intake piece.
---
Got everything in to bolt up the carbon driveshaft; new bolts, nuts and flexdisc.
---
Other parts include the Genuine A & C pillar trims that were ungluing, new center caps for the CSL wheels and new bits for the M5. Still missing quite a few parts to complete the mechanical & interior restoration: flywheel, clutch, passenger airbag sensor, M Stickers and a few aftermarket tuning surprises : )

Yea, I feel you. Used to ski a lot as a kid - and abandoned all that as an adult. I got into hiking when the pandemic hit and it has really made Winter enjoyable again. Using the V10 M5 as a Mountain Express that are 200km is always an amazing drive as well.Originally posted by Cubieman View PostI couldn't handle much more winter than we see here in Nebraska.
As a kid I loved it, but now it's straight up depressing, it's cold (duh), little to no sunlight during the day and then the salt and snow. Getting to old for this shit.
