I was looking at your engine bay when there was no cover on the driver side headlight ballast, you know you can mount the ballast under the headlights like CSL?

generally speaking: it’s always bothered me when aftermarket intakes on the E46 platform is used and that plastic snorkel piece (center above rad) is just kinda, floating there. It seems so out of place.

Yeah, the piece is floating for both aftermarket AND OEM from the factory CSL.

I'm not sure. I think there are non-OEM options but I only want them if and only if they were available OEM. Need to look into it more.

Correct. There are no OEM LED options for the sedans/tourings, sadly. You can find aftermarket versions of varying quality, but only the coupes had OEM LED tails.

Looks amazing. If you are doing the flap mod to the dme and it’ll be a working flap, all good. If I had to do it again I would go CF snorkel and put a nice mesh screen on the front for better filtration and be down with it.

HAHA! I can't wait to finally drive it! Hopefully not much longer. I'm so tempted to get seats like you have. BTW did you use all the small intake piping? I am looking for the OEM flex pipe but so far nobody has one or is willing to see the ones they are hanging on to.

The seats are great, I can’t lie

I did everything except the flex pipe. I found the same thing, they’re NLA and don’t really pop up for sale often. The intake is pretty quiet even without the flex pipe, and it can be easily installed later after removing the fender liner, so you should be just fine running without it.
