    Since my build thread on was lost along with many other members journals, I will post pictures in chronological order from the start. The first modification began with the exhaust!

    Supersprint V1 2.5" Stepped Headers, Supersprint V1 2.5" Catted Section 1, Stock Section 2 and my Supersprint Sport Muffler from my previous E46 M3.

      Within the week I had purchased a Karbonius CSL Airbox (the carbon fiber trumpet version) along with a Genuine BMW snorkle.


        As for preventatives, I took the car to Matt at Techcraft, a reputable E46 specialist in the LA area for the famous 'vanos lockdown'. Fortunately Beisan had recently released their new Upper Guide Chain at the time and used the new guide chain along with the following other parts Beisan offers:

        Oil Pump Disk, Rattle Repair Kit, Solenoid Coil Pack and Sealing Plate Seals

            My current suspension setup: KW V3 Coilovers with Ground Control camber plates and Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts.


              The original ZCP wheels weren't in the greatest condition from the previous owner, I wanted to keep the car with the original spec wheels as it's a Comp Pkg. model so I purchased a set of CSL wheels and mounted them on Michillen PS4S tires (CSL specs).


                I recently overhauled the complete rear end with Synchro Design Works monoball rtabs, CMP solid subframe reinforcement mounts, subframe bushings and differential bushings and I can't believe how amazing the car feels compared to new OE bushings I used on my previous M3's subframe job.

                Surprisingly the subframe mounting points were good condition with an exception of a small hairline crack.

                  As of today, the car has officially been converted to manual by Kaiv in San Diego. Kaiv has done a wonderful job and has sent pictures the whole way through! The flywheel and clutch were also replaced.

                        Is a CSL trunk in the plans for the car? I think that's the only exterior bit it's missing to tie it all together.
