How much post processing work is going into those scans? I have an einstar and your scans just blow mine away. Cool build!

I never posted the final install of my shifter kit.

Attempting to show shift feel on youtube:

And then the final design for the shift lever + view of the parts installed:

DMLS carrier and second revision of the DSSR came in. I also cut and rewelded my rogue shifter to make it fit:

I also made up a battery bracket for an optima D35 style battery. It's printed in Nexpa-GF25 and I overbuilt it. The battery floor area has lots of panel joints and small surface changes to make clearance for so there was a surprising amount of complexity that had to get built into it.

    I put it on makerworld:

Been doing lots of things with my car instead of getting it back on the road. Short shift clearance for how this transmission sits in my car has been a problem so I am making up DSSR and shift carriers to solve that. These will be DMLS aluminum parts. I ended up settling on a garagistic adjustable shift lever. A quick chart I put together comparing dimensions of the shift levers I have laying around:

These are close to final iterations for carrier and DSSR:

Plastic prototype parts fit tested in the car:

More scanning, more reworking but I am close to a final design. I don't have the exact location of the CSL flange yet so that is just approximate. I printed a test part for fit check and its perfect, no extra space.. Intake area cross sections are also well dialed in.This version needs a slight adjustment to the brake ducting so I will be scanning one of those and reworking. It will need a small notch to make some clearance and the sensor will get relocated to the top.

I also got to use a grinder on this car for the fist time removing the horn bracket:

If you mean s54 swapped e36 m3s I think it really depends on the car and what "sorted" means. 20k +/- several thousand dollars for a good one. I have seen them sold for as cheap as 16k and into the high 20s.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much do one of these sorted and put together run for? I’m picking up a techno violet vert and a LSB E46 as a package deal but not sure exactly what I’d like to do with them. Thanks in advanced!

I'll do some research. I think when I briefly looked at TPU for this a while back I saw low heat deflection temps and didnt really stop to think about what that means with something intentionally soft. I have a qidi plus4 which should do well with the 95a tpu
