Figured it was finally time to start a build journal for the replacement of my old Carbon Black M3. Some of you may remember that car from my for-sale thread a couple of years ago. After 15 years of ownership, it had evolved into a pretty focused track/street car—weighing right around 3,000 lbs with a half cage, stripped wiring, polycarbonate windows, and just about every suspension and reliability modification I wanted.
It was an awesome car, but life changes, wife, kids and want to track waned. So I wanted to do a full reset, and get another M3 that the wife and kids would enjoy.

I'm not sure how much I'll modify this one. I'd really like to add a carbon fiber roof at some point, but beyond that I'm planning to keep things fairly restrained.
For now, I'm just enjoying having a complete interior again.
