Bumping this since someone else brought up the xtrons

Good to hear! Do you have a link to the one you ordered? I think im going to try it out with apple carplay instead OEM NAV with BB.

Been doing a lot of work on my house under construction, so sadly the picture above is exactly how the m3 still looks.

Next time I work on it, it'll be to add some paint to areas I ground down for this that didn't end up getting epoxied over.

... Once that dries, THEN I can assemble the interior, do a deep cleaning (even with the paper I ended up making a bit of a mess) and drive the car.

I see it for sale on their website for less than $400 for their "automotive grade" hardware, with the more expensive units coming with 4G connectivity. Bonkers prices considering where Dynavin used to be. I will be buying an Xtrons unit soon.

OT but "automotive grade" is always amusing when it's applied to only a subset of products a company sells for cars. Like... WTF is the rest, then?

Also, the new unit has internal wireless carplay, instead of a dongle.

I'm sure it's pissing into the wind, but I selected this particular unit over Xtrons other offerings (or another Avin) because it supposedly uses automotive grade internals. We will see...
