What headunit is that one? Looking at doing one in the next month, you have the Avin 4 before? How does it compare?

The skin they put on it is different, but it's generally identical. I have both units launch into (wireless) carplay automatically, so from a usability perspective they're identical for me-- just small and large screen. The buttons are pretty useless if you're just using carplay, so it's just stock look small screen vs less stock look large screen.

IMO this thing still doesn’t have the glaringly aftermarket looks of a single/double din unit, and the extra screen space is hugely functional, so…. here I am.

Still using its internal amp to drive all 2 speakers I run 🙄

Yeah I’m pretty excited about this as well. Unfortunately I had my current set mounted before I researched the Connect functionality which requires the sensors to be installed 😑.

I have a new obsession, and it is this tire.

If there's a company I'm a fanboy of it's Michelin, and these sound like the perfect track tire for my wants. Optimized for long life, fine to drive to/from the track, and onboard temp/pressure monitoring as well as suggestions for pressure changes for better lap times-- in an app I can run on the Avin, on track.

The material I used didn’t hold up to the heat (they semi melted), and I don’t have access to a large enough 3D printer at my née job… so my hand was forced.

I kept the mounting brackets for future use, should I get access to one again…

Got it, thanks! I bought an Ender 5Plus which works great. I printed the first set in high temp PLA. Going to see how those hold up. Otherwise I have some carbon infused ASA I'm going to give a go.

Build is looking sick though, kudos.

I'm curious to hear what made you move away from your custom 3D printed brake ducts. I used your design to print a pair over the winter. How do you like the Hard motorsport kit, specifically the slim low profile ducting component they now have?

Installed the final tube of the brake ducting, and confirm it fits without issue in all positions:
