    Welp, guess we all gotta start over!

    My first BMW was a Lagoon Green 93 325is back in ~05 or so. RWD, 5MT, a silky smooth straight 6 that made great noises. I instantly fell in love!
    I kept that car only for a short time and replaced it with a nicer Jet Black 325is. I turned my first wrenches on that car and it became my first project.

    By the time I was done with it I had an S52 3.2 OBD1 swap, Bilstein coilovers, 3:46 40% lock diff, and countless other smaller things.

    I got rid of it in ~08 to get into an E46 M3.
    First engine swap circa 07 or so I *think* Lawlence and Smoove1 might have been at this autox (~13 years ago)

    First M3 in ~2008. It was a 2001 in Laguna Seca Blue! At the time one of the cheapest cheapest and highest mileage you could find with ~90k.

    Track bug bit hard, took it to every track I could find!

    Buttonwillow, Willow Springs, Streets of Willow, Auto Club Speedway, Chuckwalla Valley Raceway, Thunderhill Raceway, Sonoma Raceway, Laguna Seca, Spring, Mountain Motorsport Ranch, Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

    Absolutely loved the car but it did beat me up with just about every (now known) E46 M3 issue; off the top of my head:

    * Plastic PS pulley split in half and threw the belt off
    * Waterpump impeller self destructed
    * Main chain guide bolt behind tstat housing backed off
    * Powersteering, oil, diff leaks
    * Diff bolt snapped
    * Clutch, starter, alternator
    * RACP (fixed by BMW!)
    * Last but not least it threw a rod at 137k miles while cruising home from a track weekend!

      Attached some rolling shots with EricSMG ~2010! I did my first valve adjustment with Eric. I think it was around that time that I started touring SoCal and servicing everyone's car. At the time shops were getting away with charging thousands for this "mysterious" service (!)

      Eventually sold the LSB M3 in 2011 and picked up a slick top no-nav 6MT E90 M3!
