Saw one of these in London today parked up. It was a Sytner dealers car with a numbered plaque. Got some photos with my crappy iPhone. It looked lovely in the flesh.

Indeed Shim but like the E90, it would be strickly road use only for me so not concerned about ultimate times. It's just so nice on a nice bit of road. Anyway, the Mrs has just told me it's not practical enough, so that's that.:bigcry: (Yes Rob, I know :gayfight: ).Originally posted by shimmy View PostToo hard for the Ring, slower than CSL both Ring and Hockenhiem.
Sounds like a bargain to me.....off you go boys and buy it, I bet they release a special version in next 12 months and you end up kicking yourselves!
CSL is for track.

German magazine Sport Auto delivers their track report of the new BMW 1M. Along with the test drive review, the respectable magazine gives us the first Nurburgring time: 8:15 minutes, a tad slower than the 8:12 minutes time reported back in December.
The new M3 (when it comes), should be on another level. You can count on it based on the 1M's result.
8:15mins
but better on shorter circuits.
Looks great!
