    M2

    Any thoughts ??
Is it worth putting name down

Maybe. Depending on when it's out (and price) an M4 could look better value. When the 1M was launched there were loads of cars available (Soper of Lincoln had 3 physical cars). If you want something special, hows about a Cayman GT4?

It just seemed too refined the sort of car my mrs would
      Want to drive.
I think Porsche are trying to cater for too many people
Maybe gt4 will be bit more hardcore don't think your get
      Much change from 75k M2 45k

I'm tempted by the M2 GTS to the point of almost putting down a deposit on one, but still not sure on will be made.

By then I'll probably be too late!

I went /downgraded straight from GT3 to GTS and sold the GTS within approx 6 months. I found the GTS to be normal, boring and slow after the GT3. It's been 2 years now since I've owned a 911 and find myself wanting a second helping of GTS. It's not till you've been full circle that you realise how good the 911 really is.

The M2 GTS could well be the reincarnation we've been waiting for.....

                  What's the forecasted Purchase price?

Dunno. The M2 is supposed to be around £45k.
The GTS would have to be at least £10k more?

The M2 I hear is c370bhp. The GTS should be a tad more powerful but definitely lighter.

                    Hopefully not tango orange though!

Viper green? The orange E92 GTS certainly had its critics.

                            Yes the GTS.
You simply tell your dealer you want to be on the list and pay £1,000 deposit.
If you change your mind or the car doesn't get built you get a refund.
I'm number 3 on the list at my local dealer.
