Bimmer Clinic in NJ. Takes a little while to get appointments but once you are in, they do good work.

If anyone is still looking for shops in the northeast I just discovered this shop called JVR Auto & Performance in Port Washington, NY. The owners name is Johnathan. Super nice friendly guy and he knows E46's inside and out. He races in SCCA and DIALED IN my buddys E46 m3 suspension. Moving forward he will be the only person touching my car when it needs to be looked at.

Southampton Imported Cars and Kassel Performance are both great shops.

Those guys are idiots. The owner especially. Steer clear.Originally posted by Mvie View PostTaso @ TKX Performance has worked on all of my BMW's going back to the beginning. Very knowledgable, and above all an honest mechanic which is all to rare. I've trusted TKX for all of my builds, from routine maintenance to more complicated work including supercharging my former 3 series and converting it from auto to manual.

You're right in the middle of Mr M Car and Rogue Engineering (Both being an hour from your zip). I would personally go with RogueOriginally posted by MikeK View PostHey gang,
I apologize in advance here but another rear subframe ask here...I'm looking to getting my rear end refreshed (all new OEM bushings) along with rear subframe reinforcements.
I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death many different ways, but I'm looking for a shop that's relatively local to me that's experienced without getting gouged for the job.
I live in 08889, so some place that's local to be is preferred as my wife can be my uber driver.
Any insights you could share about particular shops (how long does it roughly take? how much did the job cost you?...) would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

I need to have my front end painted due to rock chips. Can anyone recommend a place that does good work and is fairly priced?

Can anyone recommend a shop for a VinceBar install? The best estimate that I've received so far is from Bimmer Clinic
