I am not sure if this is possible but here is my issue.
I have successfully disabled the seatbelt chime in my E46 M3. However, I would like to disable the light on the dash that glows red and indicates the seat belt is unplugged, see 1st picture.
I have tried disabling the 3 additional options highlighted in yellow, ("Driver & Passenger seat belt buckle switch", "Seat occupancy recognition") This resulted in the seat belt light going off but the air bag warning light coming on, (the red airbag light to the right of the seat belt light). No matter what options or combination I have tried have all resulted in the airbag light coming on, hence reaching out for help here, maybe what I am trying to do is not even possible ?
All attempts to code my desired change has been with BMW Scanner 1.4. I do have ISTA+ working and the usual suite of BMW Standard Tools.
