Hi, new member here! I currently have a '03 E46 M3 w/ Turner box running the default Alpha N tune w/ IAT sensor (runs super rich), I just bought a BDM tool and am planning to install a MAP and flash the full CSL software. I've seen a few posts about Bry5on's mullet tune and was wondering what the general consensus is about the best tune for a daily. Also, what MAP kit do you guys recommend, I saw that the brake booster kits might be better than rail mount kits. Thank you!
Edit: Pulled my ECU from my car, I've got a MSS54 non HP
. I am ordering the ROMs and resistors to do the conversion myself. I had a few questions though.
1. can I flash mss54hp or mss54 software onto the modified ECU if I decide to sell the box/go back to stock maf (using BDM)?
2. I saw on the forum that there is a barometric sensor that is different on HP ecus, will this cause any problems?
3. anyone have a goos source for the ROMs? I found them on aliexpress but no guarantee its real.
4. is the map sensor even worth it over paying for a dyno alphaN tune?
