Brake fluid around Reservoir cap & side 1st time seeing it

First time seeing fluid around the cap of the brake reservoir. Also, more alarming - fluid had obviously dribbled down the side of the reservoir getting to about midpoint. Never notice this before. Have seen a race car here or there tie a absorber type towel up there. Guess this is the reason. Time for a new reservoir? Cap? Using endless fluid fwiw.

    Thanks in advance!

Had this happen when I filled the fluid to max mark and then ran a track session in hot weather.

Edit: Turkey basted some fluid out, no problems since.

      Youtube DIYs and more

All jobs done as diy - clutch, rod bearings, rear subframe rebush, vanos, headers, cooling, suspension, etc.

PM for help in NorCal. Have a lot of specialty tools - vanos, pilot bearing puller, bushing press kit, valve adjustment, fcab, wheel bearing, engine support bar, etc.

Same. I resolved by reducing to 3/4 from max, purchased a new cap and put a sweatband around the cap for good measure. Hasn’t happen since

There is a weep hole in the reservoir cap.
