M3F COVID-19 Sim Racing Thread

If anyone is interested, maybe we can use this thread to organize sim races. During this outbreak, sim racing is a much better alternative bc we will not be putting ourselves at risk, and potentially spreading the virus and using up medical resources. 👌👌

I’m poor, so I only have Assetto Corsa and rFactor 2 on the PC.

Is there a consensus on what a good wheel/pedal setup is nowadays? Might as well use that stimulus check on something.

Seems like a solid mid-range setup is Thrustmaster T300 RS GT and TH8A add-on shifter ... at least that's what I bought a few weeks ago after a bunch of research. Fanatec stuff is high end and probably better but wasn't worth the price increase for me. I'm just getting into it too. Had finally signed up for a handful of track events this spring that have all been cancelled. I'll be curious to see if racing sim skills transfer over at all once things start back up.
