    Code ‘out’ the TPS at the Operating Rod

    I have a track-only, 2005 manual transmission car with EML code issues. I have an Epic Motorsports tune.

    How hard would it be to learn…or would it be impossible because I’m using an Epic tune…to learn how to code out the top TPS - in order to get rid of the EML codes permanently?

    The EML situation is based on Code 118, and the engine goes into a partial limp mode - I would estimate 75% of max power.

    I'd call Epic...probably need the reading from the TPS.

      OK, good news...I can call of the dogs on this request.

      I used Karter16's DS2 Tool to enable a comparison between a suspect sensor and a good sensor. I gathered enought data to conclude the TPS was bad, and that I didn't have some bigger issue.
