Did we ever!! I am gutted I must say, but I guess no race series can survive on grids of about 8 cars. Shame really

If it doesn't go ahead, it will be a shame, but it was a long shot from the outset. I personally think branding it based on a CSL was probably wrong, it may have been better to have called it the M3 Challenge (or something similar), so that more people could relate to it. Not many people know what a CSL is, but everyone has heard of an M3. If it had been for M3's only with no engine mods, standard 'box, control suspension system (to stop people spending a fortune in this area) + all the mandatory safety stuff - then I would have certainly taken a serious look at the series.
1 type of car, no classes, fairly simple and cost effective build process and away you go.

In fact, now I think about it.......who'd be up for something like that?

Said all that at the start but sadly fell on deaf ears
