    Moton vs MCS

Wanted some feedback on those of you with race cars who may have ran Moton's vs MCS's and what your experience was.

I have a set of Moton 2 way remotes that I'm trying to make work, unknown history, went off to a local guy for rebuild, but will need to go off to Anze again. Before I spend $1600+, has anyone made the Moton's work well, or did you end up ditching them for a similar MCS's setup.

This is on a full aero race car, spring rate is 900/450 (coilover rear). The Moton's seemed to be binding up mid corner and bouncing on full soft comp and rebound, and turning either up exacerbated it. They went off for a rebuild to a local guy, but he was unable to fix an adjuster so will have to go off to Anze this time. I can have them get a baseline dyno and revalve if needed to try and make them work well. Another thing to consider is I believe MCS 2W remotes are upgradable to 3-way down the line, with the Moton's I don't think that's an option. Also MCS's can get sent off to their in house service center and are supported by Bimmerworld.

I have tried to search web and facebook groups for info, but have not come across much info on the Moton's.

Almost completely irrelevant, but I had a set of the Moton Street Sports (2 way twin-tube non-remote) and I got them really dialed in.
However, I ran into the same problem as you, in that parts were getting hard to find, and servicing them was starting to get expensive. Not to mention Angelo told me he didn't want to work on them anymore.😑
So I caved and got the 2 way remote MCS. In the end, a bit more upfront, but less headaches.
