This 2003 BMW M3 was built by the owner of Lang Racing Development, a staple BMW/Porsche performance shop in Lake Forest, CA. The cage was done by Pavlov Racing Service, who many in the CA racing scene consider to be one of the best fabricators in the country. Cost of the cage was about 10k, the rear subframe was modified as well as the cage to use 1/2" bolts to bolt the subframe straight to the cage, eliminating any chance of the subframe tearing around the chassis area; which is very common on these. The carbon fiber roof that was made in-house was installed when the cage was done. Car has 1-way MCS adjustable coilovers and front and rear adjustable sway bars. Our custom carbon fiber splitter is installed to match our carbon fiber wing with custom made chassis mounts also done by Pavlov Racing. The car has an MXL2 dash installed. We have a modified fuel fill system installed that fills in the trunk. It can be fitted with a dry break for NASA endurance racing but is currently compliant with many of the other endurance racing organization rules with no dry break. The stock fuel system has new fuel pumps with double feed so you can run down to the last drop of fuel. The engine was built by us 2 years ago and is very strong producing around 300whp detuned. This car doesn't consume any oil and we can do a leakdown test at request to show the health of the engine. New differential was recently installed, one weekend on it. This was done by Dan at Diffs Online and has 4.10 gears and his typical race setup.
Has a NASA log book and is ready to race, this is probably the most well taken care of and maintained E46 M3 we have ever run across. Below is a comprehensive list of modifications and work done on the car:
