Hey, any pressure readings from the SMG pump before being removed? Any evidence showing the pump has 11k miles and the condition being perfect?

Unfortunately not, unlike most who wait until something smg related breaks, I decided to manual swap just because I miss having a manual car. So I did not take any pressure readings before removing.

i have been asked about the mileage a couple times today, this pump is the original pump on my car which currently has 11.1k miles. I’m not sure how to prove this other than maybe taking a picture of my cluster and my registration (is mileage even listed on that)?

11K is hard to believe, so make an effort to prove its legit.

Here’s a pic of my odometer, I’ll see what better proof I can come up with later this afternoon when I get off work

              congrats on sale...
just curious, I know you mentioned you wanted to have a manual.... this m3 with original 11k must be worth a pretty penny in the market (smg or manual). at that point why convert it and loose potential originality of the car? wouldn't it be better to buy another manual with higher milage?

That’s a great point, and it’s the reason it took me a few months to finally pull the trigger on the manual conversion.

ultimately I do not see myself ever getting rid of this car. Realistically I’ll only drive this car a couple hundred miles per year. I want the few miles I drive to be with a manual. Hopefully that kinda makes sense 😅

This car (LSB on black) was actually my dream car and spec from when I was in HS back in the mid 2000s, so there’s some sentimental value to it too haha

its your car so what ever makes you happy .. hope the conversion went all well. I probably wouldn't touch that myself since its such a low milage and most likely, Id store it in a bubble and buy another one for driving lol
