These came on the car when I purchased it from the original owner at 8,200 miles in 2009. These were removed from the car at ~89,450 miles this month.
Everything is in great condition except for a scrape under one of the cats and a broken hoop on 1 of the 4 screw-clamps on the slip joints (thread portion of clamp is intact, just the through-hoop is broken). There were no rattles or leaks when driving, so the broken hoop seems more aesthetic than functional at this point (the slip joint has approximately 2-3” overlap between the V1 headers and section 1 and thus forms a nice seal even before clamping). Car was used exclusively for daily driving duty with no track miles FWIW.
Functionally, the cats are perfect. Element is intact with no broken or melted sections. However, I cannot stress enough that your car must be superbly maintained if you are relying on these cats to help you pass emissions (smog). I have noticed that if the O2s, injectors, and/or MAF is not 100% functional, you will most likely exceed the reactive capacity of the cats. Keep in mind that these are 100 cell vs. the stock 400 cell. As such, I make no guarantee whatsoever that you will pass emissions in your state. Here in Colorado with relatively strict limits, the cats have allowed me to pass smog and fly under the radar. But I am also religious with regards to maintenance.
With that said, if you’re simply looking for cats to relieve yourself of the rotten egg smell of straight pipes, then this is your answer.
Price is $1200. Happy to ship, but cost is on the buyer. I only accept payment via Zelle, no exceptions. If you’re in CO, FTF and cash is fine.
Last pic is not a bad case of herpes, but rather melted plastic from half of a soda cup lid (have no idea how that got up in there). O2s will be included, but should be changed.
