Testing the waters on my V-CSL trunk (1st owner).

bought this new 2yrs ago from a buddy of mine who never installed it (still had stickers etc). Had the underside of the trunk painted matte like factory

i wired oem e9x license plate lights, new trunk and m3 badges, oem csl plate plugs, and was able to fit the oem tool tray.

fitment is almost perfect (to me)….no chips or scratches at all in the paint, but full disclosure i used to park the car outside with a car cover under the sun…..and the carbon bled through the paint…..which i had my paint detailer correct…..but can see some hints of it under the clear. Ive attached some before and after detailing to show that.

Trunk weighs almost nothing, significantly lighter than OEM CSL or OEM trunk…..and can’t be purchased anymore. Authenticity card will be included

yeah you should've seen when i dropped it off for paint. I think the paint shop called me 2 or 3 times to make sure i wanted it painted. lol It was a piece of art prior to paint.

Yea I have a doubled sided 1x1 CF VCSL trunk so I'm aware how rare these things are. I saw the car at E46M but I didn't know it was CF. My trunk's rear edge is exposed haha

yes! i saw your car too....didn't notice the CF edge. I still can't get over how light these trunks are. I literally close the trunk with one finger.....and only use 1 trunk shock since its so light.

Yea you gotta look real close since my car is kinda dark haha.

I use both shocks but I'm ready to get smacked in the face every time the button is pressed haha

I don't think you will have any issues moving this at all.

i might be inclined to that if you're serious. Just not sure of a proper way to pack to avoid any damage....that would be my biggest worry about shipping.
